Cuando Albeiro Vargas tenia 10 años ya era conocido por sus vecinos como "El angel de el norte" , el soñaba con hacer de el mundo un lugar mejor , sentia tristeza al ver la indiferencia y la soledad en que vivian los ancianos de su pueblo , entonces no se quedo solo en lamentaciones ,con sus 10 años organizo a sus amigos a los que llamo " los angeles custodios " .Cada dia a las 12 30 salia con ellos a repartir comida a los ancianos solos y pobres ... Les decia " "No es la pobreza estar ahí todos tristes ¡No! Estén contentos. Yo nunca estoy ahí con tristeza porque soy pobre, uno tiene que estar contento, teniendo al menos el pan de cada día, estar agradecidos."
Albeiro crecio y llego a dejar sus estudios de derecho , solo por dedicarse por completo a su sueño que era tener un lugar digno donde acoger a sus ancianos , su sueño se hizo realidad y hoy cuenta con una fundacion que recibe a mas de 120 ancianos a quienes ademas de comida.
